The Brand Manager is responsible for developing and executing the medical strategy for assigned therapeutic areas and products throughout the product lifecycle. The role translates clinical evidence, medical insights, and healthcare trends into impactful medical initiatives that support patient outcomes and business objectives.

Working closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders, the Brand Manager ensures scientific excellence, supports evidence generation, and contributes to the successful positioning and lifecycle management of products.

 Main activities are

Medical Strategy & Scientific Leadership:

  • Develop and implement medical brand strategies aligned with global and local objectives.
  • Contribute to product lifecycle management, including pre-launch, launch, and post-launch activities.
  • Translate scientific evidence and medical insights into actionable strategies and initiatives.
  • Monitor developments in disease areas, treatment guidelines, competitor activities, and emerging scientific evidence.

Evidence Generation & Scientific Expertise:

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of assigned therapeutic areas, products, and relevant scientific developments.
  • Identify evidence gaps and contribute to evidence generation plans.
  • Support medical research activities, including real-world evidence studies, observational research, and investigator-sponsored studies.
  • Review, analyze, and communicate scientific literature and clinical data.
  • Contribute to scientific publications, presentations, and medical communication materials.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Market Access, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial, and other internal teams.
  • Provide scientific input into product strategies, educational initiatives, and stakeholder engagement plans.
  • Support product launches and lifecycle management activities.
  • Deliver scientific and therapeutic area training to internal stakeholders.

Compliance & Project Management

  • Lead and coordinate medical projects, ensuring timely execution and budget adherence.
  • Ensure all activities comply with applicable regulations, industry codes, company policies, and ethical standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and support audit readiness where applicable.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences, Medicine, Public Health, or a related scientific discipline.
  • PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent advanced scientific qualification is considered an asset.
  • Experience in Medical Affairs, Brand Management, Clinical Research, Medical Communications, or a related role within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry.
  • Experience working in cross-functional environments.
  • Knowledge of evidence generation, scientific engagement, and product lifecycle management.
  • Strong scientific and analytical skills.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex scientific information.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational capabilities.
  • Strategic mindset with a collaborative and results-oriented approach.
